The Students Union welcomes all aspirants and parents, outlines the programme structure, and explains how the one-to-one counselling desks will operate. Attendees receive a printed information sheet with session timings, desk locations, and key contacts.

"Life at GMC" — Student Experiences

Current MBBS students from Government Medical College, Kozhikode share their personal journeys — from NEET preparation to admission, campus life, the daily routine of a medical student, and what it genuinely feels like to study medicine. This is a peer-to-peer session, not a lecture — bring your questions.

Panel Talk: Understanding NEET 2026 Results, Counselling, and the CBT Transition

A structured panel discussion covering three critical topics: (1) how to interpret your NEET 2026 score and rank in the context of this year's results; (2) the counselling and seat-allotment process step by step — All India Quota, State Quota, and institutional preferences; (3) the proposed shift of NEET to a computer-based test (CBT) format from next year, and what preparation changes it implies.

One-to-One Counselling Desks

Multiple counselling desks will be set up, each manned by MBBS student volunteers. Aspirants can approach any desk with their NEET result sheet and receive personalised guidance based on their specific score and rank. This is the core of the programme — dedicated individual attention, not a group session. Volunteers will help interpret ranks, discuss realistic college options, and offer honest advice on whether a repeat attempt is advisable.

What to bring: Your NEET 2026 result/scorecard (printed or on phone). The more specific your score information, the more targeted the guidance.

Parent Help Desk

A separate, dedicated desk for parents — operational throughout the entire event. Covers admission procedures and timelines, documentation and certificate requirements, financial planning and fee structures across government and private colleges, and what campus life looks like for a first-year MBBS student. Parents can ask anything — there are no "stupid" questions here.
